Autovation® 2010 Call for Abstracts

Utilimetrics is pleased to announce this year’s “call for abstracts” for the utility industry’s premier smart metering and smart technology conference and exposition. Autovation®  2010 is being held in Austin, Texas September 12-15 at the Austin Convention Center. 

One of the only events in the smart grid arena to foster true collaboration among multiple groups: utilities, technology solution providers, consultants, academic and corporate sectors, and regulators. Autovation®  2010 is a not-to-miss educational forum for anyone interested in creating, sustaining, and optimizing smart technologies in a smart grid world. 

PROGRAM SCOPE: The Utilimetrics Program Committee seeking original abstracts that address issues related to smart utilities and the utility technology industry. Abstracts should be focused on strategic as well as practical business solutions related to discovery, implementation and operations. Specifically, Utilimetrics is interested in original papers that present methods, processes, lessons learned, and best practices associated with:

• Optimizing asset utilization and operating efficiency
• Anticipating and responding to system disturbances
• Operating resiliently to attacks and natural disasters
• Using smart technologies in the water industry
• Making effective decisions for engaging customers and optimizing business outcomes. 

The deadline for abstract submission is March 29, 2010.
